Vault Strategies
Three Strategies. One Protection Layer.
Three curated onchain yield strategies, each available in ETH and stablecoin versions. The same legal wrapper, asset isolation, and independent protection controls apply across all three.
Treasury Allocation
Operational treasury allocation with instant unwind and stability focused exposure. Suitable for institutions requiring liquidity-first onchain yield access.
Best for:
- Treasury managers
- Institutions requiring instant unwind
- Liquidity-first allocators
- Protection focus: regulated counterparties throughout
- Mandate-controlled allocation
- Independent NAV validation
DeFi Lending and Leverage
DeFi lending and leverage execution via curated protocol infrastructure. Suitable for asset managers and family offices deploying capital into onchain lending strategies.
Best for:
- Asset managers
- Family offices
- MPC custody providers as channel
- Protection focus: 1:1 pegged collateral
- Quick unwind capability
- Mandate-controlled leverage caps
Funding Arbitrage
Cross-platform funding arbitrage across regulated CEXs, onchain venues, and TradFi infrastructure. Market-neutral construction with no direct smart contract risk in the core strategy.
Best for:
- Centralized exchanges
- Banks
- Regulated entities requiring yield without smart contract exposure
- Protection focus: no smart contract risk in core strategy
- Onchain DeFi boosters optional and insured
- Independent NAV and risk monitoring
How DeFi Vaults Work
Three layers operate independently. The curator runs the strategy. P2P.org enforces controls on it. The legal structure ring-fences each client's exposure.
Legal Wrapper and Asset Isolation
The client subscribes to a ring-fenced series via a BVI issuer. Each series maps to its own segregated portfolio and wallet. One client's exposure cannot reach another's. The BVI structure is designed to be bankruptcy-remote from manager insolvency and creditor claims.
Curator Executes the Strategy
Curator designs and executes the onchain yield strategy within the parameters set by P2P.org's risk mandate. The curator operates via API across regulated venues. P2P.org does not make allocation decisions.
P2P.org Enforces Controls Independently
Before any transaction is signed, P2P.org validates it against the risk mandate: protocol allowlists, allocation caps, slippage limits, and NAV simulation. Any failure rejects the transaction before signing. P2P.org also monitors risk continuously and escalates through a defined alert structure to emergency response where possible.
Independent Controls
Protection Built Into Every Layer
P2P.org operates as an independent protection layer between the curator and the client. The same risk mandate is applied through different controls onchain and offchain. P2P.org does not manage the strategy: it enforces controls on it.
Enforce Before Signing
- Transaction and mandate validation before custodian signing
- NAV simulation before and after every transaction
- Protocol and permission allowlists
- Receiver and withdrawal redirect checks
Control Access and Exposure
- MPC key and API access controls across all venues
- Venue and concentration caps
- Leverage, liquidation, and ADL monitoring
- Withdrawal allowlists and escalation protocols
Monitor and Escalate
- Independent NAV and share price validation
- Counterparty, oracle, and depeg monitoring
- Alert escalation: Watch, Warning, Critical, Showstopper
- Emergency exit procedures where operationally possible
Legal Structure
A Bankruptcy-Remote Legal Wrapper Around Every Vault
The legal structure is designed to ring-fence each client's exposure from the outset. Access is via equity-share subscription through a BVI issuer, not a direct DeFi deposit.
Foundation-Owned Issuer
The BVI issuer is owned by an ownerless foundation designed to insulate client assets from manager insolvency and creditor claims. Each client subscribes to a segregated series with its own ring-fenced wallet.
Ring-Fenced Series
Each client or series maps to its own segregated portfolio and ring-fenced wallet. One client's losses cannot reach another series' assets. Exposure is limited to the value of the client's own series.
Access Controls
Entry to all vault strategies is gated by KYC/KYB verification. Access is via equity-share subscription through the BVI issuer. The structure is designed to meet the requirements of regulated distributors including banks and exchanges.
Built For
Who Uses DeFi Vaults
Exchanges
- Offer clients onchain yield on ETH and stablecoins without building an in-house asset management desk
- P2P.org provides a neutral cross-exchange arbitrage venue: exchanges that compete on CEX cannot run arbitrage directly against each other
- White-label and configurable fees: the exchange controls end-user pricing and captures the spread
Banks and Regulated Entities
- Deliver a regulated, low-risk yield product to clients without exposing them to direct DeFi smart contract risk
- KYC/KYB-gated access via BVI equity-share wrapper meets the access control requirements of regulated distribution
- Independent NAV and reporting from day one: no need for an internal valuation team
Custodians
- Ring-fenced exposure with independent reporting for each client or series
- Compatible with existing custody infrastructure: the vault sits alongside, not inside, the custody stack
- Resell under your brand with configurable fees and independent reporting
Integration Options
Three Ways to Integrate DeFi Vaults

Frequently Asked Questions
Help centerDeFi Vaults wraps curated onchain yield strategies in a bankruptcy-remote BVI legal structure with ring-fenced asset isolation and independent pre-execution controls. Three strategies are available, each in ETH and stablecoin versions: treasury allocation, DeFi lending and leverage, and funding arbitrage. Access is by equity-share subscription through a BVI issuer rather than a direct DeFi deposit.
The curator designs and executes the strategy within parameters set by P2P.org's risk mandate, operating via API across regulated venues. P2P.org does not make allocation decisions. Instead it enforces controls independently: before any transaction is signed, P2P.org validates it against protocol allowlists, allocation caps, slippage limits, and NAV simulation, and rejects it on any failure.
It depends on the strategy. The funding arbitrage strategy is market-neutral with no direct smart contract risk in its core construction; onchain DeFi boosters are optional and insured. The treasury allocation and lending strategies do interact with DeFi protocols, and exposure there is bounded by protocol allowlists, mandate-controlled caps, 1:1 pegged collateral requirements, and pre-execution validation.
The BVI issuer is owned by an ownerless foundation, designed to insulate client assets from manager insolvency and creditor claims. Each client subscribes to a segregated series mapped to its own ring-fenced wallet and portfolio, so one client's losses cannot reach another series' assets. Exposure is limited to the value of the client's own series.
NAV is calculated independently by P2P.org rather than by the curator executing the strategy, and share price is validated separately. NAV simulation also runs before and after every transaction as part of pre-execution validation, so a transaction that would move NAV outside the mandate is rejected before signing rather than reported afterwards.
P2P.org monitors counterparty, oracle, and depeg risk continuously and escalates through a defined structure: Watch, Warning, Critical, and Showstopper. Emergency exit procedures are executed where operationally possible. Withdrawal allowlists and receiver redirect checks remain enforced throughout, so an emergency response cannot itself route assets to an unapproved destination.
Yes. White-label branding with configurable fees is available, so the distributor controls end-user pricing and captures the spread. Three integration paths support it: full API integration with real-time performance data, a drop-in Widget requiring no custom frontend build, or a custom vault with bespoke mandate parameters and protocol allowlists.
SOC 2 Type II attestation, ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certification, Sumsub Risk Intolerant Sentinel screening, and BSSC membership, alongside independent NAV and share price validation, audit trails, and per-series reporting. Access to all vault strategies is gated by KYC/KYB verification. Documentation is available for review during due diligence.
