Cosmos Staking for Institutions

Enterprise-grade Cosmos staking

P2P.org provides institutional Cosmos staking for custodians, exchanges, asset managers, and treasury teams. P2P.org is SOC 2 Type II attested and ISO 27001 certified, with zero slashing events since 2018. Service fees are 8% on network rewards, with no minimum. Delegated ATOM stays in the client's own account and keeps its governance rights.

P2P.org Cosmos Staking Specs

NRR is the net reward rate after the 8% service fee. Figures reflect P2P.org's own Cosmos Hub operations and move with network conditions.

Why P2P.org

How P2P.org Operates Cosmos Validators

Zero Slashing Since 2018

P2P.org has recorded zero slashing events since 2018 and none on Cosmos Hub. Cosmos slashes delegators for prolonged downtime and double-signing.

Governance Rights Retained

Delegated ATOM keeps its governance weight. Clients vote on Cosmos Hub proposals directly, or leave the validator's vote to stand.

Assets Stay in the Client’s Account

Delegation does not transfer ATOM. It stays in the client's own account and P2P.org never holds, moves, or takes possession of it.

Custody Integrations

Fireblocks, BitGo, Copper, and other custody integrations. Rewards accrue to the client's own account rather than to P2P.org.

Distributed Validator Infrastructure

P2P.org runs Cosmos Hub validators on dedicated bare-metal hardware across independent sites, removing single-site failure risk.

Tailored Terms for Larger Positions

Positions above 100,000 ATOM are quoted on tailored commercial terms, agreed with the P2P.org team rather than taken from the public fee.

How to Start Staking Cosmos

From first contact to live delegation, handled by our team at every stage.

1

Contact our team

Request a quote using the Contact us button. The P2P.org team confirms the right staking setup for the position size, custody arrangement, and compliance requirements.

2

Connect custody or wallet

P2P.org integrates with custody platforms including Fireblocks and Copper, or with self-custodied wallets. The ATOM stays in the client's own account.

3

Go live and monitor

Delegation takes effect at the next block, and rewards accrue from that point. The on-chain dashboard is available from day one.

Cosmos Hub is the first blockchain of the Cosmos ecosystem, a proof-of-stake network secured by CometBFT consensus and connected to other chains over IBC. Institutions stake ATOM to earn protocol rewards on treasury or client holdings while keeping their governance vote and custody of the tokens.

Cosmos staking delegates ATOM to a validator in the Cosmos Hub active set. The validator signs blocks on the delegators' behalf and the protocol distributes rewards every block. P2P.org, a genesis validator on Cosmos Hub, operates the validator; the ATOM stays in the client's own account.

No. The protocol sets no minimum for delegation and P2P.org applies none of its own. Positions above 100,000 ATOM are quoted on tailored commercial terms, agreed with the P2P.org team rather than taken from the public fee.

Yes. Delegation is a transaction signed by the client's own wallet or custodian and the ATOM remains in that account. P2P.org never holds funds or signs on the client's behalf; it operates the validator the account delegates to, and the client can redelegate or undelegate at any time.

Yes. Cosmos Hub slashes a validator's delegated stake for double-signing and for prolonged downtime, and the penalty is shared by delegators. P2P.org has recorded zero slashing events since 2018 across all networks, and mitigates the risk with distributed bare-metal infrastructure and continuous monitoring.

Rewards accrue every block, roughly every six seconds, and are claimable at any time from the client's account. Claiming is a transaction signed by the client, so the timing of withdrawals stays under the client's control.

Not automatically. Accrued ATOM rewards sit in the account until they are claimed, and compounding requires a claim-and-restake transaction. P2P.org can support automated compounding through the Staking API, with signing kept inside the client's custody setup.

Cosmos Hub inflation is set by governance and adjusts within a defined range depending on the share of ATOM that is bonded. It funds staking rewards, so the headline reward rate moves with inflation and the bonded ratio. P2P.org quotes NRR net of its fee, and the figure is not guaranteed.

Undelegating ATOM on Cosmos Hub takes 21 days, during which the tokens earn no rewards and remain subject to slashing for faults committed before the request. Redelegating to another validator is immediate and does not trigger the unbonding period.

Yes. Delegated ATOM keeps its full governance weight. By default the validator's vote applies to the delegated stake, but a delegator who votes directly on a proposal overrides the validator's vote for their own ATOM.

P2P.org is SOC 2 Type II attested and ISO/IEC 27001:2022 certified, holds Sumsub's Risk Intolerant Sentinel status and is a BSSC member. Audit reports and policies are available on request through the Trust Center.

GRR, the gross reward rate, is what the protocol pays a validator before fees. NRR, the net reward rate, is the figure after the service fee, so it reflects what the delegator actually receives. P2P.org quotes NRR, and both figures are estimated, variable and not guaranteed.

NRR is the net reward rate a Cosmos Hub delegator receives after the service fee. P2P.org's current NRR is around 16.59% after an 8% fee. It depends on inflation, the bonded ratio and validator performance, so it moves with network conditions and is not guaranteed.
